Katherine Sutton is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing quality healthcare. She has been working at Chronic Pain Treatment Centers since May 2022, where she utilizes her expertise to help patients manage chronic pain effectively.

Education:

Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University

Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland Baltimore

Associate degree in nursing from Howard Community College

Katherine has gained valuable experience through her work in various clinical settings. She completed clinical rotations at Saving Lives Center, Greenbelt Pediatrics, and Gaffar Syed, PA MD, where she developed a wide range of skills in primary care, urgent care, and pediatric care. Her dedication to continuous learning has led her to complete training in Botox and Dysport injections, with plans for further training in dermal fillers.

Before joining Chronic Pain Treatment Centers, Katherine worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Cardiac Associates, P.C. In this role, she provided comprehensive care to adult cardiology patients, both in the office and hospital settings. Katherine was responsible for diagnosing and managing various cardiac conditions, prescribing medications, and developing personalized treatment plans. She also conducted stress testing and coordinated referrals for additional cardiac testing when needed.

Katherine's commitment to patient care and her diverse healthcare background make her a valuable asset to the team at Chronic Pain Treatment Centers. She strives to deliver compassionate and effective care to improve the lives of her patients.

Brittney Barnes-Blount is an accomplished nurse practitioner dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care at Chronic Pain Treatment Center. Based in Frederick, MD. With a Master's degree in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Washington Adventist University, Brittney possesses a solid educational background that enhances her clinical expertise.

With a wealth of experience in diverse healthcare settings, Brittney has honed her skills and versatility. Currently serving as a Center Nurse Practitioner at Stonerise Healthcare in Martinsburg, WV since March 2021, she demonstrates a proactive approach in managing acute patients, providing comprehensive clinical education to staff, patients, and families, and actively overseeing chronic patient conditions. Additionally, Brittney contributes as a panel board member, ensuring the selection of top-quality providers for Stonerise.

During her tenure as an Assistant Nurse Manager at Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD from May 2016 to February 2021, Brittney's exceptional abilities were evident. Her role encompassed assessing, coordinating, and implementing safe and effective patient care, while also nurturing the professional growth of her colleagues through mentorship and evaluation. She exhibited a keen understanding of unit needs and resource allocation, ensuring optimal support for the healthcare team.

Brittney's passion for nursing is matched by her commitment to continuous learning and development. She holds nursing licenses in multiple states, including DC, MD, and WV, and possesses a wide range of skills, including medication administration, nurse management, and primary care experience. Her proficiency in utilizing various electronic medical record systems, such as Epic and Cerner, further enhances her ability to provide efficient and high-quality care. 

Certified in Gerontological Nursing and as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Brittney maintains the highest standards of care in her practice. She also holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and DEA. As a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, she remains connected to a network of esteemed professionals.
